Joanna Romero is a Mexican actress who discovered her love for acting at a young age in Mexico City. Her professional journey began at the age of 12, performing in musicals such as The Little Mermaid, The Addams Family, and We Will Rock You. Driven by a deep passion for the performing arts, she decided to pursue a career in acting, leading her to move to New York and earn a BFA in Performing Arts from The American Musical Dramatic Academy. During her studies, Joanna also had the opportunity to live and train in Los Angeles, enriching her artistic perspective.

After graduating, Joanna made her Off-Broadway debut in the new musical In a Dream and co-produced the 15-time award-winning web series Imposter. Her commitment to the craft and love for teaching inspired her to pursue an MFA in Acting at the prestigious Actors Studio Drama School. Reflecting on her journey, Joanna feels more confident than ever in her identity as an artist and continues to channel her experiences into her work, both on stage and in the classroom.
